Many retirees face delays in pension payments, often requiring repeated office visits. Indian Railways is establishing pension courts to resolve these issues efficiently.
An initiative is scheduled in the Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway.
After retirement, many elderly individuals often face challenges in accessing their pensions. Their pension payments may get delayed or stuck due to unknown reasons, forcing them to visit multiple offices in search of a solution. To address this issue, Indian Railways has established dedicated pension courts to assist retired railway employees in resolving such grievances efficiently.
These pension courts will be set up across various railway divisions, providing a centralized platform for addressing pension-related concerns. One initiative is scheduled in the Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway on December 16 from 11 AM to 5 PM. Retired employees and the dependents of deceased employees associated with the North Central Railway Headquarters in Prayagraj can use this opportunity to resolve issues related to pending pensions or retirement dues.
Purpose:
The initiative aims to simplify the process for retired employees, ensuring that they no longer need to navigate the complexities of pension-related bureaucracy. Similar pension courts will also be introduced in other divisions, and retirees can stay informed through their respective divisions about upcoming sessions. It is important to note only grievances from retired employees belonging to the division holding the pension court will be addressed during that session.

To participate, applicants need to provide the following details in their submission:
- Applicant’s name
